Dr. José Vieira Gavino

José Vieira Gavino is manager and partner at Rede Elo Farma, a leading company in Portugal in providing management advisory services and support for pharmacy activities. He also has extensive experience in the national and multinational pharmaceutical industry, having been responsible for several companies, in several countries and international projects. In this context, he was a member of the board of Apifarma, an association of the Portuguese pharmaceutical industry and Europharm smc, an association of small and medium-sized European companies. José Gavino was born in Ourém, Portugal; and, he has a degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Lisbon. Specialist in Pharmaceutical Industry by the Order of Pharmacists. Postgraduate degree in finance from the Catholic University of Lisbon, and training at IMD in Lausanne, Ashridge College in the United Kingdom and IESE in Barcelona. He was a guest professor at the Egas Moniz University Institute. In addition to being a member of the Ipdal advisory board, he is a member of the general board of the Portuguese cardiology foundation, the general and supervisory board of Bluepharma generics, the plural supervisory board and chairman of the board of the general assembly of the Order of Pharmacists, of which He was previously a member of the national ethics council and VP of management.
