For the first time, IPDAL brought together Latin American ambassadors and several companies and institutions in Porto for the Ibero-American Business Meeting, with the aim of strengthening relations and promoting debate on trade, investment and cooperation between the different countries in the region. .

This working meeting was attended by the Secretary of State of the Treasury of Portugal, Pedro Sousa Rodrigues, the Ibero-American Deputy Secretary of SEGIB, Marcos Pinta Gama, and also the Vice-President of CAF – Development Bank of Latin America , Christian Asinelli. Some of the most important Ibero-American companies were also present, such as CJR Renewables, Mota-Engil, Iberia, Grupo Azevedos, Endesa, among others.

In his intervention, the Secretary of State for the Treasury stated that “Portugal wants to maintain the trajectory of increasing exports, attracting investment and Portuguese investment abroad” and that “we count on the Ibero-American countries and we want them to count on Portugal”.
The event had the support of Porto City Council.
