The President of the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL), Paulo Neves, the Secretary General, Gastón Ocampo, and the President of the General Assembly, Ivan Gonçalves, paid an official visit to the Apostolic Nunciature in Lisbon to present New Year’s greetings to the Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in Portugal.

The meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere and strengthened the institutional ties between IPDAL and the Holy See’s diplomatic representation in Portugal. The occasion allowed for an exchange of views on issues of international relevance and on IPDAL’s role in promoting dialogue and cooperation between Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

The visit is part of IPDAL’s commitment to forging closer relations with the diplomatic corps and other international organisations, strengthening its position as a benchmark institution in the field of international relations.
