The Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL) was received in audience by His Excellency the Most Reverend D. Andrés Carrascosa Coso, Apostolic Nuncio to Portugal, with the aim of presenting the work carried out by the Institute and strengthening institutional dialogue in the context of international cooperation and diplomacy.

During the meeting, the main initiatives promoted by IPDAL were presented, with particular emphasis on its public diplomacy projects, strategic reflection forums, and multilateral dialogue platforms.

The audience also provided an opportunity to address the organisation of the 7th edition of the Mafra Dialogues, which will take place on April 8 in Mafra. This public diplomacy initiative brings together some of the most influential global institutions in the fields of International Humanitarian Law, conflict prevention and mediation, democratic resilience, and the empowerment of civil societies.
