Ambassadors from Latin America and the Caribbean visited the Autonomous Region with IPDAL.

The delegation was received by the President of the Regional Government of Madeira, the Representative of the President of the Republic, the President of the Regional Legislative Assembly and the President of the Funchal City Council.

Between the 12th and 14th of November, Latin American diplomats also had the opportunity to contact the main economic agents in the region, at a business forum organized in partnership with ACIF-CCIM , and to participate in the Annual Congress of the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT), where IPDAL once again had its own stand to promote tourist destinations in Latin America among the more than 600 professionals in the sector who were present at the event .

The visit included cultural and tourist moments, which allowed diplomatic representatives to deepen their knowledge of the region’s artistic and natural heritage.
