On 23 January, the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL) celebrated its 19th anniversary with a reception at the prestigious Grémio Literário in Lisbon. The event brought together various personalities, partners and friends of the institution, reinforcing IPDAL’s role as a bridge between Latin America, the Caribbean and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, who was joined by representatives from various embassies and other prominent guests. During the reception, the importance of IPDAL in promoting political, economic and cultural dialogue between the countries within its sphere of activity was highlighted.

Over the last 19 years, IPDAL has played a key role in strengthening relations between Latin America, the Caribbean and Portugal, promoting cooperation initiatives and fostering debates on strategic issues for the development of international relations.
The 19th anniversary celebration was thus an opportunity to reaffirm IPDAL’s commitment to its mission and to thank all those who have contributed to the institution’s success and growth.
