Gaston Ocampo is the new Secretary General of IPDAL, the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean

Gastón Ocampo arrives in Lisbon from Washington, DC, where he worked in the Office of the President of the Inter-American Dialogue, one of the main think tanks in the world dedicated to the study of Latin America.

Gastón Ocampo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied at Roanoke College, in the state of Virginia, USA, where he graduated in International Relations and Business Management.

Gaston Ocampo was already a Member of the IPDAL Advisory Board and was the first Director of IPDAL Academy . He now takes on the role of General Secretary, replacing Filipe Domingues, who remains on the Board of Directors of the Institute.
