Africa XXI | 5th edition

The 5th edition of the Africa XXI event, organised by the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL) in partnership with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and Atlântica – Instituto Universitário, will take place on 20 November 2024 at the Lisbon Geographical Society. The event aims to catalyse a transformative change in the global narrative about Africa, highlighting the continent as a dynamic and influential force on the international stage. During the event, leaders and experts from various fields will debate crucial issues such as African integration and digitalisation, with a view to strengthening democracy and sustainable development.

The event’s agenda includes activities and panels that foster strategic discussions:
