IPDAL today organized the first edition of the Portugal – Latin America and Caribbean dialogue table, bringing together the Portuguese government and GRULAC at the same table.

The initiative, which took place behind closed doors, brought together the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Francisco André, and the group of Latin American ambassadors resident in Portugal.

The meeting gave rise to a frank discussion on relations between Portugal and Latin America, the search for areas to deepen ties between the two parties, and an examination of the past and future of bilateral relations between the various countries.
