A delegation from IPDAL was received in audience by the President of the Republic, at the Palace of Belém. According to the President of the Institute “the meeting served to thank the President of the Republic for all the support he has given to IPDAL in recent years”. On February 18th, Paulo Neves added that “we received High Patronage from the President of the Republic for some of our activities, especially for the Strategic Triangle Meeting: Latin America-Europe-Africa, an annual IPDAL initiative that serves to identify the best forms of Atlantic triangulation between countries on the three continents”.

The President of IPDAL highlighted the institutional importance of the meeting in Belém “at a time when IPDAL celebrates 10 years, this meeting represents an incentive and highlights the credibility of our institute and our work with the most important Sovereign Bodies”.

The IPDAL delegation was made up of the President of the Board, Paulo Neves, the President of the General Assembly, Carlos Rito, and the Secretary General, Filipe Domingues.

In addition to the President of the Republic, the President of the Republic’s advisors for international relations, ambassador Luísa Bastos de Almeida and diplomat Sandra Magalhães, participated in the meeting.
