IPDAL organized a visit by Latin American Ambassadors to the Aveiro region.

The agenda consisted of a set of meetings of a business, institutional, academic, tourist and cultural nature.

The delegation made up of the President and Secretary General of IPDAL, eight ambassadors and a head of mission, attended the opening of the 42nd National Congress of Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT), where the IPDAL once again has a stand to promote tourist destinations in Latin American countries.

On December 8, 2016, a tourist visit to the main centers of interest in the city of Aveiro was promoted and the group participated in the official opening dinner of the APAVT Congress.

The delegation was received in audience by the President of Aveiro City Council , who accompanied the visit to the Municipal Environmental Interpretation Center and the Santa Joana Princesa Museum. The next moment of the program was a visit to the factory and the recently modernized Vista Alegre museum , in Ílhavo. The group Visabeira offered lunch at Montebelo Vista Alegre Hotel .

On the afternoon of the 9th, IPDAL and the Industrial Association of the District of Aveiro (AIDA) organized a business forum to publicize business opportunities in Latin America.

IPDAL thus continues to fulfill its mission of promoting Latin American countries throughout Portuguese territory, a practice it has been developing since its foundation.
