IPDAL organized a business mission to Paraguay and Uruguay. The delegation was chaired by Paulo Neves, President of the Institute.

The Business Mission was formed by the companies Mota-Engil, Efacec and Grupo Sousa. The latter from Madeira.

Paulo Neves and the delegation were received in Paraguay, in an official audience, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. They also held a meeting with the team of the new President of the Republic of Paraguay. The business mission also held meetings in Asunción with three ministers: Energy, Public Works and Industry. They were also received by several business associations and the Mayor of the Paraguayan capital.

The Business Mission extended to Uruguay, where it was received at the Ministries of Industry and Energy.

Both in Buenos Aires, Asunción and Montevideo, the Portuguese delegation held official meetings with Portuguese diplomatic representatives.
