Miguel Albuquerque chaired the first meeting of the consultative body of the Institute for the Promotion and Development of Latin America.

On June 17, 2013, the new members of the Council were also presented: José Honorato Ferreira, João Monteiro de Barros, Bernardo Theotónio Pereira and Sofia Vieira.

The President of the Advisory Council took advantage of the occasion to present his strategy to boost the body and had the opportunity to hear the first recommendations from members on the Institute’s activities and policies.

The Advisory Council is the advisory body of the IPDAL Management and serves to present suggestions, proposals and analyzes of the activities carried out by the Institute. Contributes to the elaboration and improvement of the global strategy and specific objectives, helping to define the general guidelines and institutional positioning of IPDAL.
