The President and Secretary General of IPDAL signed the book of condolences opened at the Colombian Embassy, upon the death of Gabriel García Márquez.

It was with great sadness that the Institute for the Promotion and Development of Latin America, and all its collaborators, received the news of the death of the Colombian Nobel Prize winner for Literature.

With his genius and charisma, one of the main figures in the history of world writing left a legacy for eternity capable of inspiring all of humanity.

IPDAL thus reiterates the tribute paid to Gabriel García Márquez.
