Paulo Neves, President of IPDAL, met with the former President of Cape Verde, Pedro Pires. The former President heads the Pedro Pires Institute for Leadership (IPPL), with whom IPDAL has a Protocol.

At this meeting, which took place in Lisbon, they spoke about future joint initiatives. The Pedro Pires Institute will participate in the V Meeting of the “Strategic Triangle: Latin America-Europe-Africa”, which will take place in Lisbon in April 2016. Still in the first half of next year, there will be a joint initiative by IPDAL and IPPL in Cape Verde also to talk about Atlantic triangulation.
