On his most recent official visit to Peru, the President of IPDAL held a series of meetings, first meeting with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ignacio Higueras.

He met with the Secretary General of the Andean Community, Ambassador Gonzalo Gutierres to sign a cooperation protocol between the two organizations, and also met with Edgardo Alvarez, Secretary General of ALIDE – Latin American Association of Financial Institutions for the Development.

These meetings discussed ways to strengthen Ibero-American integration through deepening financial relations between Latin American development banks and Portugal and also ways to increase the visibility of these countries.

There was also time for meetings with the Director for Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lissette Nalvarte, former Ambassador to Portugal, and with the President of the Diplomatic Institute of Peru.
