The President of IPDAL participated in the Round Table “The Reestablishment of Diplomatic Relations between Cuba and the USA and the Future of the Inter-American System” organized by the Autonomous University of Lisbon.

Paulo Neves made the opening speech of the conference, where he referred to the exceptional nature of the moment both countries are experiencing and the historical context in which inter-American relations find themselves.

IPDAL also arranged for the presence of Carlos Malamud, Principal Researcher at the Real Instituto Elcano for Latin America.

Other participants were: Andrès Malamud, Nancy Gomes, Luís Moita, Luís Tomé, Filipe Vasconcelos Romão, Carmen Fonseca and Elizabeth Accioly.
