IPDAL meets with the Secretary General of SEGIB

The President and Secretary General of IPDAL met with the recently elected Secretary General of Iberoamerica, Rebeca Grynspan.

On May 28th, in Lisbon, Paulo Neves and Filipe Domingues presented the Institute to the new head of the Iberoamerican General Secretariat (SEGIB) and discussed future initiatives together. Those responsible for the two institutions agreed to deepen the relationship created several years ago and strengthen it, with new projects and activities.

On her first official visit to Lisbon – since taking office as Secretary General of SEGIB – Rebeca Grynspan was received by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and IPDAL.

The Costa Rican, former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, was accompanied by the Director of External Relations and the Director for Cooperation at SEGIB. At the meeting with IPDAL, the member of the Institute’s Advisory Board, Luís Ferreira dos Santos, was also present.
