The President of IPDAL participated in Madrid in the “Campus and Excellence Program” of the FAES Foundation, led by the former Spanish Prime Minister, José María Aznar.

The Program began with a meeting with Prime Minister Rajoy and Aznar. During the days of the Meeting, participants – one from each Latin American country and one from Portugal – visited the Moncloa Palace – official residence of the President of the Spanish Government –, the Spanish Congress, and were received by the Mayor of Madrid (Ana Botella) , by the management of Banco Santander, with whom they had lunch, at Casa da América, etc. The participants in this Meeting were senators, deputies, party presidents, and members of governments from several Latin American countries. From Portugal was Paulo Neves, President of IPDAL.
