IPDAL was once again present at the annual conference of the Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF), in Washington.
This initiative, co-organized by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the InterAmerican Dialogue, took place between the 9th and 10th of September and aimed to discuss, with some of the world’s leading experts, the current economic and political state of Latin America, as well as your future.
Some of the speakers present were: the Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, the Secretary General of SEGIB, Rebeca Grynspan, the President of CAF, Enrique García, the former President of Panama, Martín Torrijos, the former Secretary General from SEGIB, Enrique Iglesias, the Assistant Secretary of State of the United States of America, Roberta Jacobson, the international relations advisor to former President Lula da Silva and President Dilma Roussef, Marco Aurélio Garcia, the President of the Central Bank of Uruguay, Mario Bergara, the vice-president of the World Bank Jorge Familiar, the researcher at the Real Instituto Elcano, Carlos Malamud, the former Under-Secretary General of the United Nations and former Executive Secretary of ECLAC, José António Ocampo, among several other guests from excellence.
