The Secretary General of the Institute participated, on the 17th and 18th of July, in the seminar “European Union – Latin America Relations in the new international context”.
Filipe Domingues was a speaker at the closing panel, dedicated to the theme “European Union – Latin America Cooperation Agreements – the Role of Ibero-America in a changing world”. In the same session, Juan Ignacio Siles, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia and Director of Summits at SEGIB, and Doris Osterloff, former Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of Costa Rica and Ambassador in Madrid, spoke.

The Secretary General of IPDAL presented an Atlanticist vision of the global phenomena of the 21st century and explained how the historical experience of the Iberian countries serves as a point of balance between regions undergoing profound change.

At the seminar, organized by CEXECI , for the Junta of Extremadura and for Yuste Foundation , politicians, businesspeople and academics from all over the world also participated. The initiative took place in the monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste, the address that Emperor Charles V chose to spend the last years of his life.
